Sonoma County’s registrar of voters is reminding West County residents to turn in their special election ballots by March 2nd. Registrar Deva Marie Proto says there are three ways to return your ballot in time. You can mail in your ballot, postmarked on or before election day. You can drop off your ballot at one of 20 ballot drop boxes installed throughout the county before 8 PM on election day. And finally, you can take your ballot to one of 20 polling places open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The special election concerns two tax measures: Measure A’s parcel tax benefiting the West Sonoma County Union High School District and Measure B’s Occupancy Tax benefiting West County Emergency Services and Schools.
