NORRISTOWN â A Pottstown man will face the jury that will decide his fate in October in connection with the fatal shooting of another man in the Bright Hope housing community.
The trial for Armani Cortez Rhedrick, 22, will begin on Oct. 11, according to an order filed by Montgomery County Judge William R. Carpenter. The trial is slated to last five days. The trial date was scheduled after a conference between the judge and the lawyers in the case.
âThis date is consistent with the business of the court in dealing with the COVID judicial emergency and its aftermath. There shall be no continuance,â Carpenter wrote in the order.
With a hardhat atop his head, Kevin Erb stood at a project site Friday afternoon, gesturing to show off a field of newly planted greenery covering thousands of square feet in the middle of Lancaster city.
But the project engineer wasnât leading a tour of the newest city park or community garden. In fact, he wasnât even on the ground.
Erb was one of several construction officials to climb a ladder to the roof of a new fire station under construction on West King Street, where work is likely to wrap up by the end of the month.
Both expatriates, Dold and his British-born wife, Clare, met in 1972 at the former Le Pavillon restaurant in St. Augustine. Besides Hannah, 34, the couple have two other children.
Clare handles some of the counter sales when not working in her other job in the development department of St. Johns County. We re just a small bakery using all fresh ingredients, said Clare. I always think of us as the bakery around the corner.
The Dolds opened the Bakersville Bread Company in January 2018. Though Josef worked in carpentry most of his life (his handiwork can be seen in the shop s rough-hewn wooden gable framing a painting of the German countryside), he added, I always loved to bake.
