SHELBURNE The town is seeking the public’s input to choose the species of 14 trees that will be planted this fall as part of the Bridge Street reconstruction project.The trees will replace 11 trees and two stumps that are being removed from Bridge.

SHELBURNE FALLS An informational meeting is scheduled for Wednesday morning to discuss the first phase of Bridge Street reconstruction, which is slated to begin the week of May 17.
The project involves repairs to Bridge Street from the Iron Bridge to roughly Baker Avenue. It is being funded by a Community Development Block Grant and a $10,000 contribution from the Shelburne Falls Fire District, according to Linda Overing of Breezeway Farm Consulting, who is managing the $787,832 grant.
