Anyone traveling down West Kirkwood Avenue recently has probably noticed activity in the former Morrison s TV & Appliances store.
Rose Hill Farm Stop, a nonprofit agricultural cooperative with about 30 vendors farmers and food artisans will open this summer at 902 W. Kirkwood Ave., between Rogers Street and the intersection with Adams.
Its website says, We are a new cooperative of small, local farmers opening a retail and aggregation outlet to connect the Bloomington community with transparently sourced, healthful food.
The concept is to provide Bloomington-area residents with locally grown, sustainable food all week long while providing local farmers, crafts people and food vendors with a space to sell their products.
