RIDGEFIELD Some affordable housing units that remained vacant for several months in Ridgefield might soon become home to new residents as the housing authority recuperates from employment challenges.
Ridgefield has four affordable housing entities that the housing authority oversees: an independent living residence for seniors at Ballard Green, a congregate senior facility at Prospect Ridge, Meadow Ridge family units at Prospect Ridge and general affordable housing spread between both locations.

She also has stood on the stage at Waterbury’s Seven Angels Theatre, the Sherman Playhouse and and Western Connecticut State University’s Visual Performing Arts Center.
She has been part of numerous shows with NewArts, the performing arts wing of the 1214 Foundation in Newtown. She sang on the cast album of their original musical, “A Rockin’ Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Six Western Connecticut State University recipients of the Master of Fine Arts degree this May will present their works in the M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition running from Wednesday, June 23, through
Saturday, July 10, at the Blue Mountain Gallery in New York.
Admission will be free for public viewing in person at the gallery, located in Suite 200, 547 W. 27
th St. in Manhattan. The gallery will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday during the exhibition.
The exhibition, supported by the Jason and Ellen Hancock Student Endowment Fund, showcases the diverse works in painting, illustration and mixed media created by this year’s M.F.A. graduates. The WCSU Department of Art organizes the M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition each spring as a capstone experience demonstrating the personal artistic direction and mastery of candidates for the M.F.A. in Visual Arts. The following M.F.A.
