Denver’s Great Divide to Sell RiNo Taproom and Packaging Hall
Great Divide Brewing Company plans to sell its nearly six-year-old Barrel Bar and packaging hall in Denver’s River North Art District.
The 27-year-old craft brewery will consolidate its operations at its Ballpark District brewery and taproom at 2201 Arapahoe Street, where the company has maintained its beer production.
Great Divide will continue to operate the packaging hall and taproom until it sells, so the company will likely exit the facility in mid-2022, the company said in a press release.
“Right now, we have two facilities that are not being maximized,” Great Divide founder Brian Dunn said in a statement. “We had three options on the table: move all operations to RiNo; move everything to a new location outside of Denver; or relocate to our original location. It is not only happening this year but the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild has extended it throughout February to encourage social distancing.
âCOVID-19 has brought unprecedented challenges to the Guild with events â like Strong Beer Festival, Baja Beer Festival, Real Wild & Woody â being their main source of revenue. We are asking for all Arizona breweries and brewers far and wide to raise a glass with us and participate in this collaboration,â said Rob Fullmer, guild executive director.
Arizona Beer âMonthâ includes more than 20 craft breweries throughout the state â including 12 in the East Valley â that are selling a special Rebuild the Guild Benefit Beer.
Beach Haven, NJ Ship Bottom Brewery has entered into agreement to distribute Battle River Brewing. Ship Bottom will sell and distribute Battle River to twelve northern New Jersey counties plus Ocean and Atlantic counties. Sales reps will begin presenting the brand the second week of February.
Initial brands will include Patriot and Warhorse. Patriot is a West Coast Style IPA with moderate IBU and a vast mix of aroma of Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic hops. Hop Profile: Columbus, Eldorado, Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic. Additions N/A 16oz cans, 7%abv, IBU 41.
Warhorse is a classic New England style double IPA, with medium body and smooth mouth feel. Hop overload with huge tropical aroma of citrus, mango, and pineapple. Hop Profile: Denali, Citra, El Dorado, Galaxy. Additions: Mango, Pineapple, Apples. 16oz cans with a 7.5abv and IBU 25.

Despite the pandemic and all the restrictions, breweries continue to proceed with their plans to open in the Garden State. With 126 breweries now producing new products, probably 20 more will be tapping their tanks in 2021.

Behr Brewing in Erma recently and they are prepping their space for new equipment to be installed on the property. They are hoping for a spring opening, so check their progress on their Facebook page. Another one in Ocean View,
