The operation of vaccination centres across the country was deferred today, due to a decision to limit the AstraZeneca vaccine to over 60s. Clare FM Text 086 1800 964 8th March 2021 An Ennis GP says she’s concerned about a potential ‘scramble for vaccines’ in the next number of weeks as the COVID-19 jab is rolled out to the younger population. It comes as medically vulnerable people begin being inoculated across the country today, with the last of those aged over 85 to receive their first doses. The HSE says the job of drawing up the full list of people with underlying health conditions will take until the end of March.
