Norway High School senior Mackenzie Clifford shows the many gift bags for residents at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara, Wis., as part of a Norway High School class 20 Percent TIme Project. The gift bags helped to ease the stress of COVID-19 among the homeâs residents.
NIAGARA, Wis. Mackenzie Clifford, a senior at Norway High School, found a way to help make the isolation inflicted on nursing home residents a little easier through a class project.
Jacqueline Leiker’s technology class at Norway High School selects a 20 Percent Time Project for each Friday.
Clifford chose to raise money and donate care packages for the residents of Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara, Wis. She collected funds through donations, shopped for all of the items, assembled the gift bags and then delivered them to the residents at Maryhill.
