A popular spot for outdoor recreation in St. Marys will become the new home of the town’s Saturday farmers market this summer.
After finding a pandemic-friendly space in the Delmar Foods parking lot on James Street last year, the St. Marys Farmers Market and its two-dozen vendors will be setting up shop at The Flats next month.

As a way to mark the COVID-19 pandemic’s first anniversary and to honour those who have lost their lives to the virus, the Town of St. Marys is inviting residents to contribute to a temporary memorial on the steps of the St. Marys Public Library.
On Thursday morning – the same day the Government of Canada had designated a National Day of Observance – St. Marys Mayor Al Strathdee and Deputy Mayor Robert Edney led by example, each placing a bouquet of flowers on the library steps.
