WINNIPEG The Manitoba government is reporting a number of possible COVID-19 exposures that occurred on transit buses and in various taxis in Winnipeg. Winnipeg police are investigating the city s latest homicide after the body of a 27-year-old woman was found in the apartment building at 693 Maryland Monday afternoon.
Jasmine Normand was found dead mid-Monday afternoon in the three-storey, red brick apartment block near the corner of Wellington Avenue and Maryland Street.

On Tuesday, Winnipeg police said an autopsy determined the death of the 27-year-old woman was a homicide. Police asked the public for help in finding out Normand’s activities in the days before her death.

Authorities are looking to learn what happened to a Winnipeg woman before she was found dead in an apartment.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jasmine Normand was found dead on Monday afternoon inside a 600 block of Maryland Street apartment. The Winnipeg Police Service says when emergency crews arrived at a call about a deceased person at 2:25 p.m. they found her inside.
On Tuesday, the results of a post-mortem examination revealed she died as the result of a homicide and now, the Homicide Unit is investigating.
The Winnipeg Police Service is looking to piece together her whereabouts and activities in the days leading up to Monday. They are looking to speak with people who may have seen or spoken with her.

Police released a photo of Normand, and are looking for the public’s help to establish Normand’s whereabouts, activities and people she may have been in contact with in the days leading up to her death.
