Authorities are looking to learn what happened to a Winnipeg woman before she was found dead in an apartment.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jasmine Normand was found dead on Monday afternoon inside a 600 block of Maryland Street apartment. The Winnipeg Police Service says when emergency crews arrived at a call about a deceased person at 2:25 p.m. they found her inside.
On Tuesday, the results of a post-mortem examination revealed she died as the result of a homicide and now, the Homicide Unit is investigating.
The Winnipeg Police Service is looking to piece together her whereabouts and activities in the days leading up to Monday. They are looking to speak with people who may have seen or spoken with her.
