Murphy said the move will help the state reach more people in communities of color.
“We will be working directly with our communities of faith to turn houses of worship and other community gathering places into vaccination centers for local residents – essentially bringing the vaccines to them,” Murphy said. “We undertook these partnerships throughout last spring and summer to ensure access to COVID testing, and we are going to follow this model for COVID vaccination.”
