The IRS and Treasury Department are sending out the second round of relief payments faster than the first time, but millions of Americans haven’t gotten theirs yet.
Here are some reasons why:
Eligibility for this round of payments is different from the first; if you’re an individual earning $99,000 or more, you won’t be getting any relief money this time.
In the spring those making more than $75,000 still got a check, it was just smaller than anyone making under $75,000.
Another reason you may be having issues is if you recently switched your bank account.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) La Crosse County employees will get a one-time payment of $500, tax-free, to cover COVID-19 related expenses, under a resolution county supervisors approved Thursday after a contentious, two-hour debate.
Some supervisors resisted the idea, insisting that it would be unfair to workers in other occupations and challenging whether it would help the local economy.
The action survived a vote to refer the issue back to the executive committee in a quest to help more people, but it ultimately passed on a vote of 16 supervisors for, 12 against and one supervisor excused.
