For many reasons a “K-shaped recovery” that’s leaving people behind, an impending push for green-economy jobs, students’ greater hesitancy to enroll in higher education colleges would be wise to pay particular attention to programs tied to cutting-edge fields right now. Done right, those programs could be the lifeblood of institutions and their communities. Done wrong well, you don’t need me to outline the potential for political and financial backlash.
