The Office of the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar’s Office have announced this year’s Margaret MacVicar Faculty Fellows: professor of mathematics Larry Guth, associate professor of materials science and engineering Elsa Olivetti, associate professor of nuclear science and engineering professor Michael Short, and professor of biology and biological engineering Michael Yaffe.
For nearly three decades, the MacVicar Faculty Fellows Program has recognized exemplary and sustained contributions to undergraduate education at MIT. The program was named after Margaret MacVicar, the first dean for undergraduate education and founder of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). Bryan County has been awarded federal funds under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program. The Salvation Army will serve as the administrating agent. Bryan County will receive for Phase 38 $11,054.00 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the local area. The funds will be distributed to qualifying organizations selected by the local board.

Is It just me or isn’t It about Tom Wolf start doing his job as our governor. I mean now he’s telling schools that they all need to return to the classroom for In person learning.
