Leamington town council voted against a proposal from the Windsor Police Service (WPS) to replace the Ontario Provincial Police on its streets at a special meeting Tuesday evening.

Leamington to take legal action against 12 greenhouse operators

Leamington is preparing legal action against 12 greenhouse operators for non-compliance with its light abatement bylaw.
As CTV News reports, the town’s council received updates on the status of the enforcement of the bylaw last Tuesday. Bylaw enforcement officers had visited greenhouses and followed up on compliance from January to March.
