Children should be taught empathy in schools to help boys express their emotions and creativity, Cambridge University academics have said.
Following a study which found that children who are more empathetic are more creative, academics are calling for schools to implement empathy teaching to nurture emotionally intelligent learners .
The year-long research is part of a collaboration between the Faculty of Education and the Department of Engineering at Cambridge called Designing Our Tomorrow .
