UTV rollover crash injures 2 in Parke County

By Local News | MyWabashValley.com Apr 26, 2021 10:22 AM PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) One person was ejected and another needed to be extricated following a UTV crash Saturday in Parke County. The driver, Austin W. Hunt, rolled the UTV while traveling on Mansfield Road west of State Road 59, according to the Parke County Sheriff’s Department. Hunt was able to walk, but was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries. Once released from the hospital, he will face charges of operating while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.15 or higher and OWI with serious bodily injury. After the passenger was extricated from the UTV, he was transported to an Indianapolis hospital via helicopter due to the seriousness of his injuries.
