Buffalo, NY Five Western New York residents were among dozens more arrested in the past few days in connection with the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
Like in previous arrests, none of the five appeared to try to hide their involvement. Some celebrated from inside the U.S. Capitol and others boasted about the insurrection upon their return home, feds say.

New Hartford, N.Y. An Oneida County man has been charged after he admitted to investigators that he was inside the U.S. Capitol building during the Jan. 6 insurrection, according to federal court papers.
Eric Bochene, 49, of New Hartford, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of unlawfully entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds, and two counts of violent entry disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to court papers filed by federal prosecutors. The charges are misdemeanors.
