Second Anganwadi worker in Telangana dies 10 days after inoculation; govt says death not related to COVID vaccine
Previously, a 42-year-old from Nirmal district working as an ambulance driver died within 18 hours of vaccination and a 48-year-old Anganwadi worker from Warangal died after 5 days of taking vaccine.

HYDERABAD: A-55-year old Anganwadi worker from Mancherial district in Telangana who was immunised with the Covid-19 vaccine on January 19, died while undergoing treatment for some health complications at NIMS hospital in Hyderabad on Saturday night.
The anganwadi worker, Susheela, belonged to Kasipet village of Kasipet Mandal in Mancherial district.

The 55-year-old woman from Mancherial district was given the vaccine dose at the
primary health centre in Kasipet on January 19, but complained of shortness of breath and giddiness only on January 29, officials said on Sunday.
According to Director of Public Health Dr G Srinivas Rao, she was admitted to Medilife Hospital at Mancherial. She was shifted to Nizam s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIM) Hyderabad on January 30, where she succumbed at about 11 pm.

Another healthcare worker in Telangana who was vaccinated against Covid-19 earlier this month has died. This is the third such incident that has come to light in the state since India commenced the world s largest vaccination drive on January 16.
