LEIGH coach John Duffy was happy to finally see his his team get a run out fore the first time in 12 months after Saturday s friendly at St Helens. Centurions ran out 25-24 winners courtesy of a last minute drop goal from Ryan Brierley after battling back from 18-6 down. Duffy took plenty of positives from the 80 minutes after watching his squad blast off the ring rust of more than a year. Duffy said: Watching the lads play was the most pleasing thing for us because we have 90 per cent of the squad has not played for 12 months. It has been a tough time for everyone, but I am just pleased to see the boys get out there and play some rugby to be honest.
