The Pembroke Academy boys’ lacrosse team got off the bus in Peterborough and promptly gave up the first two goals of Wednesday’s Division II playoff game against ConVal. After that, it was all Spartans.PA goalie Adam Omundson stopped the next nine.
The Spartans only won a single game in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. This year, the Pembroke boys’ lacrosse team is making winning a habit.The Spartans won a pair of games on the road over the weekend topping Coe-Brown, 4-3, on Friday and Merrimack.

While most area high school lacrosse teams open their season on Tuesday, the Concord High boys started last week with a pair of games against Bedford. But with the 2020 season lost to COVID and a shortened 2021 preseason without scrimmages, the Crimson Tide took a different approach to Tuesday’s season opener in Bedford.
