2021 Triumph Bonneville range gets model updates 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 Comprising of five models and one limited edition variant, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville “Modern Classics” range gets engine updates and weight reduction. The entire Bonneville lineup gets Euro 5 compliance in the engine room along with improvements in engine response and lower emissions. Topping Triumph’s Modern Classics are the 2021 Bonneville T120 and T120 Black, carrying the 1,200 cc High Torque parallel-twin. This year’s T120s are 7 kg lighter than previous, coming with lightweight aluminium wheels rims. 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black Braking has taken a serious upgrade, with the T120 now coming with Brembo brake callipers on twin brake discs. Cruise control is now standard fitment and software for riding modes has been revised, while the instruments sport a new fascia.

Called the Trident, it’s powered by an inline three-cylinder 660cc engine that produces peak power of 81-PS at 10,250 rpm and maximum torque of 64-Nm at 6,250 rpm. Handling all this power is ride-by-wire technology with two riding modes and adjustable traction control. The ‘Road’ and ‘Rain’ riding modes adjust the throttle map and traction control.There’s also a switchable traction control, integrated in both riding modes, and this can also be disengaged directly through the instrument menu.

The Trident 660 joins the Hinckley firm’s lineup of naked sports bikes including the 765RS, 765R and 765S and faces competition from the likes of the Yamaha MT-07, Kawasaki Z650 and Honda CB650F in its class. Carrying Triumph’s signature engine configuration, the inline-triple, liquid-cooled with 12-valves and DOHC, the Trident 660 gets a claimed 80 hp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. There is also a restricted power version, meant for the UK’s A2 licence class, that gets 46 hp at 8,750 rpm and 59 Nm at 5,250 rpm.
