The pair stole toys, perfume and were caught removing security tags from aftershave. Alistair Brown, 35, of Macbeth Road and Amber Smith, 26, of Mackie Place, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. The partners both admitted the offences at the Asda store, Fulmar Way, Hillend, which took place on three separate occasions in 2019. On September 24, they stole a quantity of toys, worth £78.40. On November 26, they stole a quantity of perfume, worth £115. On November 27, they removed security tags from items and attempted to steal a quantity of perfume and aftershave. Brown’s solicitor, Chris Sneddon, said that, at the time, his client had a cocaine addiction but had now stopped offending.
