Article content The director of Ontario’s civilian police watchdog found no basis to proceed with criminal charges in an incident in which a 26-year-old man who had been arrested for drunk driving suffered a broken nose. The man was being released from the Rockland OPP detachment early on Nov. 1, 2020 but an officer was trying to get him to plan a ride home because they believed he was still intoxicated and he wasn’t dressed for the cold.
