ALBANY A Halfmoon man who allegedly fired an AK-47-style assault rifle at a rival in East Greenbush last year went on trial Monday in the first criminal trial in the James T. Foley U.S. Courthouse since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Romano McCain, 48, who is not allowed to possess guns because of domestic violence-related restraining order against him in Albany City Court, is charged with possessing a weapon and ammunition as a prohibited person, as well as making illegal threats affecting interstate commerce through threats on Facebook.
