SINGAPORE’S Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday reported 233 new cases of COVID-19, with 10 of them Malaysians.Seven new clusters were also identified, thus, bringing the total tally for the republic to 2,532 cases, said the ministry in a statement issued late Sunday.A Malaysian man, aged 25, was linked to a McDonald’s restaurant, one of the new clusters identified. McDonald’s Singapore had reported that five of its employees were diagnosed with COVID-19 and they are from four different outlets, two of them at McDonald’s LIDO and one each at Forum Galleria, Parklane and Geylang East Central.

SINGAPORE - In a turn of events on Thursday (Aug 12), a lawyer turned up in court to represent Phoon Chiu Yoke, 54, just as she was expected to plead guilty. Mr Amos Cai of Yuen Law showed up to represent Phoon, who faces 22 charges for multiple offences, many relating to breaching Covid-19 regulations. He spoke to Phoon just.
