SINGAPORE A 33-year-old doctor who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a patient while the latter was upright instead of in a supine position had his suspension period reduced by the Court of Appeal on Monday (Aug 7).
Counsel for the Singapore Medical Council said that even if Dr Ho Tze Woon was not trained in patient transfer, it was a matter of "common sense" to put the patient on the floor before performing CPR.
