6 Arrested On Meth Charges After 3-Month Investigation - Times-Union Newspaper

A three-month investigation by Kosciusko County Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET 43), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section (ISP DES) unit resulted in the arrest of six people. The following persons were arrested, according to a news release provided by Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Brad Kellar: • Seth Lewis Cummins, dealing methamphetamine, held on a federal warrant and on a warrant for violation of release conditions in a dealing methamphetamine case from Whitley County.

Hammondville man arrested on assault charges

A Hammondville man was arrested last Friday on assault charges. On Friday, Feb. 26, DeKalb County sheriff deputies and Sylvania police officers responded to a shooting at a residence on County Road 233 between Sylvania and Rainsville. Before officers arrived, the caller reported that the suspect had left the scene in a silver Chevrolet Corvette. Fort Payne Police Officers and deputies located the vehicle in a ditch at the intersection of County Road 85 and County Road 749, due to the suspect losing control of the vehicle. The male and female subjects exited the vehicle and ran into a wooded area, but thanks to the help from some observant motorists, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Officers with the Fort Payne, Valley Head and Mentone Police Department’s apprehended the subjects within minutes. John Christopher Shea, 38, of Valley Head, was charged with Assault 2nd and Discharge Firearm-Building/Train.

(WAFF) - Two people led authorities on quite a hunt this month after burglarizing multiple homes throughout north Alabama. Kathryn Smith, 19 of Cleveland, TN, and Tristan Grider, 20 of Cleveland, TN, were arrested in DeKalb County for a string of theft and burglaries occurring in three different states within the past year. The Alabama investigation began on Dec. 14th when the Mentone Police Department received a call about a gold vehicle and two suspicious subjects pulling into a driveway. It was reported that the male stole a package from the front porch of a house on AL 117.
