Tumang said the funding had been made possible through the re-alignment of certain barangay projects.
The Municipal Health Office is also doing the master listing of all individuals who would need to get vaccinated. The town will follow the guidelines set by the Department of Health in which priority will be given to seniors and health care workers.
The town targets to vaccinate some 70 percent of its 154,000 residents to be able to achieve herd immunity.
Tumang said he had instructed the Municipal Health Office to visit households to better get a complete picture of those willing to get vaccinated.
