Joan Kerr, who co-ordinates both bird counts, said participants who participated each day came up with 32 species in Grande Prairie and 25 in Beaverlodge. “We can (reference) the count week also, so we had evening grosbeak and black-backed woodpecker for count week, but the main one is the main day which is 32 species,” she said. “We got some summer birds. We got (American) robin, (northern) flicker, dark-eyed Junco, white-throated sparrow for summer birds.”
