Students in grades 6-12 switched to online-only classes on Friday, April 16, and will continue learning remotely through Friday, April 23, according to an April 15 letter to families from Muskegon Superintendent Matthew Cortez. “I am writing in response to the current COVID-19 rates in our Middle School and High School levels,” Cortez wrote. “Ninety percent (90%) of the cases we are seeing are at the 6-12 grade level.”
