B. E. ‘Jack’ Warden, died April 12, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd, MN, caused by Parkinson’s Disease which was caused by exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam where he served as a rescue helicopter pilot for the Air Force.
Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, March 9, 1932. Graduated from high school at Shady Side Academy, Fox Chapel, PA 1950. Married Louise June 7, 1952, in Washington, D.C. Graduated from U of Maryland, 1955, via U.S. Air Force R.O.T.C. program, graduated from helicopter flight school, successfully serving 20 years, retiring in 1975 as a Lt. Colonel. Family then moved to Nisswa that year with Jack and Louise taking ownership of his parents’ small resort. Six days each week he walked to Nisswa P.O. stopping, visiting and starting the day knowing everyone in downtown Nisswa was alright. State board reinstates doctor’s license after suspension for sexual conduct with patient

The Minnesota Board of Medical Practice reinstated a conditional medical license for a longtime lakes area doctor after it was suspended in May 2020 over unethical conduct involving sexual contact with a patient.
Dr. Peter Dunphy will be permitted to practice medicine in a pre-approved setting and while accompanied by a female chaperone when treating female patients. Dunphy may petition for reinstatement of an unconditional license no sooner than two years after this action, taken Jan. 9. The doctor most recently practiced at Essentia Health’s Hackensack clinic before his employment was terminated the same month as his license suspension, accordin
