Through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, the two branches of government invested over $3.5 million in order to assist 700 businesses in the Ontario agri-food sector in establishing or expanding their online presence. It’s hoped the funding will provide consumers with more local food choices when shopping from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
