Lahore Police on Wednesday carried out the 18th flag march in different areas of the city to monitor law and order situation as well as the implementation of coronavirus SOPs during the lockdown.
Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mehmood Dogar along with Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Usman led the flag march. DIG Operations Sajid Kiani, Lahore CTO Syed Hammad Abid and other senior police officers also participated in the flag march.

PESHAWAR: As the number of ice drug (methamphetamine) addicts have increased over the several years in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the police and other forces are focusing more on cutting the supply and going after the big fish involved in the drug business.
The provincial capital along with some districts have made recovery during actions against the ice or meth dealers in recent months. According to the officials or the Peshawar police, the force in the provincial capital has recovered 81 kilograms of ice and over 120 KGs heroin during the current year.

According to the officials or the Peshawar police, the force in the provincial capital has recovered 81 kilograms of ice and over 120 KGs heroin during the current year.
The highest recovery of ice, 22 KG, was made by the Tehkal police followed by 8 KG in Badaber.
Unprecedented increase in bank robberies in KP

PESHAWAR: An unprecedented increase has been recorded in bank robberies as well as attempted robberies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the last few months triggering concern among the bankers and their customers.
At least five banks were attacked by the robbers in the provincial capital and in Khyber and Nowshera districts since January, a source told The News. In a normal situation, hardly a couple of bank robberies are reported across the province in any year.
However, the first four months of 2021 have already witnessed many failed and successful attempts by the bank robbers in the provincial capital and its two adjoining districts. In the latest incident, a policeman was wounded when he and the bank guards foiled a robbery in Pabbi.
