The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment was informed today, August 6 by CARPHA of the COVID-19 sequencing results of samples received at CARPHA on July 27th, 2021. One sample detected a variant of concern (VOC) – B.1.617.2 - Delta variant, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.

Nine (9) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
The Health Services Sub-Committee has provided an update on the positivity rates for each day.

No new recoveries were recorded leaving the total number of recoveries at seventeen hundred and eleven (1711).
One hundred and seventeen (118) cases are active and ten (10) persons with COVID-19 have died.
One thousand, eight hundred and thirty-nine (1839) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.

NEMO reports no new Covid-19 cases, seven recoveries Social Share
St Vincent and the Grenadines on Monday recorded no new positives cases for the 30 samples received and processed on Sunday February 28, 2021, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.
At the time of this release there were no results for the 236 samples received at the Molecular Lab Unit for March 1, 2021, the release said.
Seven persons were cleared bringing the number of total recoveries to 945. Six hundred and seventy-five (675) cases remain active and eight persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, six hundred and twenty-eight (1628) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
