Rockville Man Dead After Crash on Clara Barton Parkway
One man is dead following an automobile crash at the Little Falls Branch Bridge on Clara Barton Parkway on Monday.
U. S. Park Police responded to the single-car crash shortly after midnight on Feb. 15 in Washington DC, near the Montgomery County line. Police say the car crashed through a wall, and fell down an embankment into a tree. The driver was found pinned in the car.
The man, identified as Rockville resident Murat Siyam, 45, was transported to a local hospital, and later pronounced dead.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted by the United States Park Police Criminal Investigations Traffic Safety Unit.

A Rockville man died early Monday after he crashed into a tree on the Clara Barton Parkway near the Maryland-D.C. line, U.S. Park Police said.
Murat Siyam, 45, was driving a vehicle that crashed into a tree near the Little Falls Branch Bridge around midnight on Monday, Park Police spokeswoman Sgt. Roselyn Norment wrote in an email to Bethesda Beat Monday evening.
Norment wrote that officers who went to the scene saw that the vehicle had gone off the road and into a tree on the west end of the bridge. No other details of the crash were available.
