Broc Feeney continued on his merry way on the streets of Townsville with a crushing Race 2 victory.
It marked Feeney’s third win in four starts this season, with the Triple Eight Race Engineering driver extending his Dunlop Super2 Series lead.
Tim Blanchard was five seconds adrift in second, with Jayden Ojeda 1.7s back in third.
Feeney led away from pole and quickly edged away from the chasing pack.
However, his charge was stifled almost immediately; on lap 2, Triple Eight teammate Angelo Mouzouris was turned around by an out-of-control Aaron Seton.

A last-gasp flyer helped Broc Feeney top practice in Townsville for the second time in as many sessions.
The Triple Eight teenager was atop the time sheets for the balance of the 40-minute session, before dropping in a 1:14.628s.
Only Feeney and MW Motorsport’s Josh Fife, who recovered after an early off, were able to break into the 1:14s bracket.
Feeney set the early pace, lowering his own standing lap time to clock a 1:15.172s.
That time held firm for much of the session before Fife clocked a 1:14.840s, with Jayden Ojeda slotting into second.

More than 40 schoolgirls at Launceston s Riverside High School on Friday took part in the latest edition of the FIA Girls on Track program.
There, Heimgartner attended as a guest coach at the event, which is part of Motorsport Australia;s initiative.
Heimgartner facilitated simulator sessions and a fitness workshop during the half-day event for girls aged 12 to 18. It’s really cool program by Motorsport Australia, Heimgartner told Supercars.com.
