Carter takes the helm with close to 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as the President of Guests, Inc., a full-service hotel management company headquartered in Strasburg, Virginia.
Carter s vast experience includes positions such as Director, Corporate Director, Resident Manager, General Manager, Independent Consultant, and 16-year tenure as the Managing Director of Airlie Resort Hotel. He served on the management teams of some of the country s most notable properties including the U.S. Grant Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel San Diego, Club Corporation of America, Rancho Valencia Resort, Kiawah Island Resort, and Bald Head Island Resort.

William (Bill) Frederick Krueger went to eternal rest on January 14, 2021 with his wife Diane by his side. He was surrounded by family and friends as he left his earthly home. The list of family and friends’ lives that were touched by Bill’s kind and generous nature is endless and he will be missed tremendously.
Bill was born on July 26, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. It was there he grew up, became an Eagle Scout and graduated from Lane Tech High School. He attended Valparaiso University and after his graduation he began a career in the insurance industry. He was a hard worker and quickly climbed the corporate ladder. In 1981, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where he led Lincoln Benefit Life, an Allstate subsidiary, as the CIO until his retirement. Bill shared a love of the Chicago Cubs with his family, celebrating their 2016 World Series title with them all. Benjamin Clifton Suddard passed away January 6, 2021 from injuries suffered during a kite boarding accident. Ben is survived by his wife Lena C. (Magnuson) Suddard and his two children, Kristina Ingrid, Benjamin Walter and daughter in-law Katherine (Adams). He is also survived by his father, Benjamin Alvin, a sister Jamilynn Suddard Novo and brother in-law Lawrence Novo along with his niece Rebecca Novo Shippey.
Ben was born in Wareham and attended the Wareham school system until he entered Tabor Academy where he played lacrosse and the trumpet. He learned to sail as a young child at Tabor and continued his sailing adventures including crewing on the Marion-Bermuda race. He was a sports enthusiast from the time he was very young when he was first introduced to the sport of skiing. He enjoyed ski adventures at Jackson Hole and Switzerland.
