Graduation is this Saturday
The Switzerland County High School Class of 2021 has endured one of the most unique senior years ever, but will come together this Saturday morning to celebrate together as they participate in graduation ceremonies.
High School Principal David Todd said that this year’s graduation will be held in the gymnasium this Saturday, May 29th, and will begin at 10:30 a.m. In keeping with restrictions and guidelines involving the COVID-19 pandemic, special procedures will be in place for the graduation.
Principal Todd said that each senior will be given 10 tickets at their graduation practice tomorrow (Friday), which begins at 1 p.m., and the senior can then distribute the tickets as each family sees fit. Attenders must have a ticket to be admitted to the gym for the graduation ceremony, which is again being held in the gymnasium after the 2020 graduation was held on the athletic field due to COVID restrictions.
