Restart grants now open for applications in Oldham Date published: 06 April 2021 One-off grants of up to £6,000 are available for non-essential retail businesses while hospitality, leisure, accommodation, personal care, gym and sport businesses could receive a one-off grant of up to £18,000 Businesses forced to close during the national lockdown can now apply for a Restart Grant to help them reopen safely as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.  The new scheme is for non-essential retail and hospitality, leisure, accommodation, personal care, gym and sport businesses and is being administered via Oldham Council.  One-off grants of up to £6,000 are available for non-essential retail businesses while hospitality, leisure, accommodation, personal care, gym and sport businesses could receive a one-off grant of up to £18,000.

SUPPORT: Business grants available TO DATE more than £83.5m has been given out in the form of grants to thousands of Bolton businesses who have been forced to close or been severely impacted by local and national covid restrictions put in place. The Business Rates and Business Bolton teams have been working hard to process applications as quickly as possible and deal with all enquiries to provide help and support to as many businesses as they can. New grant launched for Eden firms affected by coronavirus lockdown 29/01/2021 A new grant has been launched for Eden businesses that have been severely affected by the current national lockdown, implemented to slow the spread of coronavirus and protect the NHS. A new round of the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) was launched this week to help businesses which have been severely impacted from the January lockdown, regardless of whether they have been legally required to close or not. The ARG is a discretionary scheme, open to businesses that aren’t eligible for the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) grant. Eden Council previously opened a round of ARG funding during the last national lockdown in November 2020.

Support package for Northumberland businesses closed by coronavirus now available

BUSINESSES in Northumberland which have been forced to close due to coronavirus restrictions can access a new package of support. Northumberland County Council will contact eligible businesses via email, and once brief details have been confirmed payments covering a six-week period will be made. The business support package for the lockdown from 5 January onwards includes two elements: Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum: 5 January – 15 February; and A one-off Closed Business Lockdown Payment. If applicable, payment for the five days from 31 December to 4 January, to cover Tier 4 restrictions, will also be included. The amounts payable will be dependent on the rateable value of the business.
