JS body recommends continued effort to get vaccine from USA, India 240 DHAKA, May 09, 2021 (BSS) – The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) today recommended the ministry to continue its effort to obtain the ‘AstraZeneca’ vaccine from the United States and India. The committee also recommended the ministry to continue its efforts to ensure the supply of China’s Sinopharm vaccine, said a press release here. The parliamentary watchdog made the recommendations at its 20th meeting today, held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban under the chairmanship of Muhammad Faruk Khan. The committee also recommended keeping the Bangladesh-India border closed due to the current alarming situation of Covid-19.
