Working class to resume routine jobs as Eid holidays end

Islamabad : People of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are bracing to resume their jobs after enjoying nearly prolonged long Eid ul Fitr holidays.
The holidays have culminated on Sunday and routine office, as well as business activities, will start today (Monday) by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) against deadly coronavirus.
A resident of sector I-8/2, Muhammad Tayyab, who is a government servant expressed jubilation that the long leaves were going to end. “We enjoyed with the family at home and everyone tried their best to enjoy by strictly following the SOPs against COVID-19.,” he said adding the nation was united against the deadly virus and COVID would be defeated with the unity of the people of the country.
Two murdered in Bahawalpur
BAHAWALPUR: Two people were murdered in two separate incidents during the last 24 hours.
In the vicinity of Bahawalpur Sadr police, Muhammad Aqeel, 19, of Jhok Jhanwar was allegedly shot dead by Jamil and his accomplices over an old enmity over a land possession dispute.
In the second incident, a youth of Basti Nani Wali was allegedly clubbed to death by accused Saghir Shah on a row of quarrel of children.
TWO DIE IN ROAD ACCIDENT: Two people died in a road accident the other day. Muhammad Tahir and Fayyaz Ahmad of Ahmadpur East died and two others sustained injuries when their car hot a roadside tree near Chowk Zahir Pir. They were coming to their native town from Karachi to celebrate Eid.

Zafar Ullah reelected CPSP Council president

Islamabad:College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) Council has unanimously elected Professor Zafar Ullah Chaudhry as President of CPSP for the third term in a meeting held in accordance with Corona SOPs.
In the meeting presided over by President CPSP, the third annual term elections were conducted which were supervised by Secretary CPSP Professor Irshad Waheed. The twenty member council from Sindh, Punjab, KPK, Baluchistan and Armed Forces elected Professor Muhammad Shoaib Shafi from Rawalpindi and Professor Syed Khalid Ahmad Ashrafi from Karachi as Vice Presidents.
