Working class to resume routine jobs as Eid holidays end

Islamabad : People of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are bracing to resume their jobs after enjoying nearly prolonged long Eid ul Fitr holidays.
The holidays have culminated on Sunday and routine office, as well as business activities, will start today (Monday) by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) against deadly coronavirus.
A resident of sector I-8/2, Muhammad Tayyab, who is a government servant expressed jubilation that the long leaves were going to end. “We enjoyed with the family at home and everyone tried their best to enjoy by strictly following the SOPs against COVID-19.,” he said adding the nation was united against the deadly virus and COVID would be defeated with the unity of the people of the country.
Wife, her lover turn out to be killers of prayer leader

LAHORE:The investigations of blind murder case of an imam masjid few days back revealed that victim’s wife and her lover were behind the murder; this has been revealed by DIG Investigations Lahore Shariq Jamal in a press conference at his office on Monday.
Shariq Jamal said that the victim Qari Asif was murdered few days back in Shalimar and Police have arrested the suspect Ashraf Usman. He had relationship with the victim’s wife. Both wanted to contract marriage. Asif’s wife had demanded divorce many a times earlier and after the failure, they hatched a plan to remove him from the scene. Jamal added that Police also arrested three other suspected murderers involved in other blind murder cases. A few days back a man Gul Ahmad was shot dead by two unidentified suspects in Green Town. JHANG: A woman who was completely paralysed after a wrong C-section conducted by a lady doctor two years ago died here on Sunday.
Reportedly, the deceased was waiting for justice from the Punjab Health authorities for the last two years. According to the inquiry report of the district health officer (No1512/E), Farhat Bibi of Al-Noor Colony was shifted to a private hospital for delivery. However, no qualified surgeon or doctor was available for the support of lady doctor/owner of the hospital during surgical procedure of the woman. As a result of alleged mismanaged surgical procedure, the woman delivered a baby girl but was paralysed completely. Later, she was shifted to the DHQ Hospital but she was further referred to some hospital due to her critical condition.
