Seven new species of birds found in wetlands

Kolleru, Uppalapadu and Kondakarla are the homes of birds and migratory birds in our state. Bird lovers visit these areas mostly in our state. Otherwise, they go to areas where there are more swamps like Rajasthan and Gujarat. Now new birds are visible in the wetlands around Vijayawada. There are seven new bird species that have not been recorded in the Krishna district. 25 foreign bird species migrating from far off places appeared. A total of 156 species of birds are wandering in this area. These were found in the first phase of the bird count in the ponds and fields in the city s surroundings under the vijayawada nature club.

Two arrested; drugs seized January 1, 2021 LAHORE:Lower Mall police Thursday claimed to have arrested a man for allegedly dealing in fireworks. The arrested suspect has been identified as Ashfaq. A police team raided his place and recovered fireworks worth over Rs2 million. Meanwhile, Mustafabad police arrested a suspect namely Abdul Waheed for dealing in drugs and weapons. Police also recovered 2.3kg charas, 1kg heroin and 210g opium, two pump-actions, one gun and cash from his custody. Police have registered cases against both the suspects. VISIT: DIG Operations Lahore Ashfaq Khan paid a surprise visit to the Lytton Road and women police stations on Thursday.
