Local investor Elliott Kyle told the
Post Monday he and his investors (who are going unnamed) are not ready to disclose details regarding the project. However, a document submitted to the Metro Planning Department and requesting a rezoning for the Cleveland Park site references âa brewery and outdoor seating.â
Kyle said that the investors are under contract to acquire the 0.85-acre property, which has addresses of both
âWe are exploring some exciting and interesting ideas in what we think will be an appropriate approach in keeping with the evolution of Cleveland Park and McFerrin Park,â he said. âAs always, we are elated to get our hands on such a special property, and we will take a preservationist lean with the project.â
Four-story structure will offer residential, retail space
A mixed-use building is being eyed for a site located near The Fairgrounds Nashville.
To offer 108 residential units and 4,000 square feet of retail, the four-story building would sit at
1425 Fourth Ave. S., on the eastern edge of Wedgewood-Houston. Mad Dog Investments owns the 0.9-acre property, having paid almost $2.17 million for it in January 2019, according to Metro records. Mad Dog Investments shares an address with Murfreesboro-based Maples Realty and Auction.
Nashville-based Fulmer Lucas has been retained for engineering and land-planning duties and Centric Architecture for design work.
The team will go before the Metro Board of Zoning Appeals on April 1 to request a special exception regarding setbacks.
