WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio Cleveland Benedictine grad and current Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Justin Layne was arrested early Friday morning in Lake County.
In a report released Friday, Willoughby Hills police say an officer was conducting traffic enforcement on I-90 East when he observed a Dodge Charger approaching him at a high rate of speed. The officer confirmed with a handheld laser that the Charger was traveling 89 mph in a 60 mph zone. Dash cam video released by the Willoughby Hills Police Department shows how things unfolded. Prosecutor announces Gallia Grand Jury indictments

GALLIPOLIS Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that the Gallia County Grand Jury met and handed down indictments in January, February, and March.
According to a news release from Holdren’s office, the following individuals were indicted:
January
David E. Davidson, age 46, of Jackson, Ohio, one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Passing Bad Checks, a felony of the fifth degree.
Jonathan Alexander Wiley, age 40, of Crown City, Ohio, one count of Breaking and Entering, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Theft from a Person in a Protected Class, a felony of the fourth degree.

Two Charged in Connection to St. Louis Avenue Shooting
The Zanesville Police Department says it was called to a report of a fight on Tuesday outside of a home at 817 St Louis Avenue. Detective Phil Michel says while officers were responding to the call there was an additional report of shots fired in the area of that location. Michel says the victim and the suspect knew each other. The detective says officers received information about a suspect vehicle and a traffic stop happened on Maple Avenue at Convers Avenue. Officers took the driver of the vehicle into custody without incident.
