DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two highway robbers looting passengers on the National Highway near Bakhtiarabad area of Sibi district on Tuesday were killed in an exchange of fire with members of the Levies Force.
Levies Force officials said that after receiving information about robbing of passengers by some dacoits on the National Highway, a heavy contingent of Levies Force rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area before launching an operation against the robbers. After an exchange of fire lasting several hours, two dacoits were killed but an accomplice of theirs escaped from the area.

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Police on Saturday rescued an orphan teenage girl, who was being allegedly forced to marry an old man, and arrested four people on abduction charges.
Addressing a press conference, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jaffarabad, Sardar Hassan Musakhail said that the 13-year-old girl was abducted 20 days ago from Hyderabad when she was on her way to school.

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three men were shot dead in two separate incidents in Nasirabad district on Wednesday, police said.
The officials added that armed motorcyclists killed a man and his son in Goth Shahnawaz of Manjoshori area of Nasirabad before speeding away. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival. One of the victims was later identified as Gul Hussain.
After receiving information about the attack, a police team reached the crime scene. Initial investigation showed that the motive for the murder was old enmity.
Another man was shot dead near Abro Colony of the Dera Murad Jamali town of Nasirabad district, according to police.
DERA MURAD JAMALI: During an anti-smuggling operation in Nasirabad, customs personnel seized 430kg of hashish, worth Rs96 million, from a truck.
A spokesman for Customs Collectorate, Quetta, said the officials of Model Customs Collectorate (Enforcement & Compliance), Quetta, intercepted the 10-wheeler truck carrying gravel at the Notal check-post.
During the search the officials recovered 430kg of hashish hidden under the gravel. The consignment of the drug was being taken out of the country. The people travelling with the vehicle escaped taking benefit of darkness. The Customs officials registered a case.
