MUMBAI: With the opening of suburban trains from February 1, the metro services will be available from 6.50am at Versova and 7.15am at Ghatkopar from Monday.
At present, metro services are available with first train from Versova at 7.50am and last train from Ghatkopar at 10.15pm with weekday ridership at around 80,000.
A Mumbai Metro One official said, Now, the first train from Versova will be at 6.50am and from Ghatkopar at 7.15am. Similarly, the last train from Versova will be at 9.50pm and Ghatkopar at 10.15pm.
For easy access for commuters to and from metro to suburban stations, railway FOBs at Andheri and Ghatkopar will also be opened.

Indian Railways first Rajdhani Express which operates on the push-pull technology will run daily from Mumbai to New Delhi from today.
Indian Railways Central Railway zone which operates 22221/22222 Rajdhani Express which had its inaugural run on 19 January 2019. This bi-weekly train with one First AC, Three AC 2-Tier, 8 AC 3-Tier and one pantry car, departed from CSMT every Wednesday and Saturday at 14.50 hrs and reached Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.20 hrs next day, halting at Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantt.
