Motorcycle accident leaves cousins dead in Munshiganj

Two cousins, on an unregistered motorcycle, were killed at Muktarpur Bridge in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj this afternoon when the two-wheeler hit a footpath.
The deceased were identified as Md Shayor (20), from Ponchoboti area of Fatulla in Narayanganj, and his paternal cousin Omi (21) from VT Hogla area of Munshiganj Sadar upazila. Shayor was a student of Dhaka s Uttara College and Omi studied at Government Haraganga College.
Munshiganj Sadar Traffic Police Inspector Mohammad Bazlur Rahman said two youths were coming towards Munshiganj on an unregistered motorcycle from Ponchoboti. Due to speeding, they lost control and hit a footpath at Muktarpur Bridge.
